Endeavour 17 , Kayak in a lake ! ( 47 w.h.)

There is an excellent magazine, "Small Boats", which presents  several constructions of small boats.

Based on their own drawing , I built a small kayak, the Endeavour 17 in 1:8 scale.

The hull planked with mahogany. The length is 628 mm.

The cocpit coaming ( orange skirt ? ) , is made by polymer clay.

The imitation of water is made by resin.

In the next steps, I will apply two coats of varnish on KAYAK, I 'll place some bamboo reeds beside the tree . Finally I will apply a thin layer (1-2 mm )of transparent resin on the water.

Endeavour (1050 w.h. )

This model represents the famous schooner, winning the first  two races of America's Cup.

The dimensions of model are:  length 101cm , width 15cm , height 132cm.

The showcase is handmade by myself.

Lancia of HMS Victoy in 1/16 scale ( 1230 w.h.)

This model represents one of the boats used by HMS Victory , which lifted the anchors...

 ...the specific boat has been manufactured from scratch , based on the plans of Panart...

...materials used in : Greek walnut , beech , plywood  and veneers of european oak, sapeli and european walnut...

...dimensions of model : length 630mm , width 180mm , width with oars 380mm , maximum height 480mm.

Cargo ship in 1/48 scale ( 970 w.h.)

This is a  model  builted from scratch, based on blueprints of Brockley Combe .

The ship was build in 1938 , was under the UK flag and sank 15/12/1953 under unclear circumstances.

 For reasons of personal aesthetic , painted in different colors  and given a Greek name "ΕΛΕΝΗ".

Her length is 1.255 mm ,width is 260 mm and maximum height is 490 mm.

It's a wooden model , coated metal sheets, at certain points.
